Porter Wound Healing Center
The Porter Wound Healing Center, with a healing rate of well over 90 percent, was designed by experts in wound care to provide treatments that promote rapid wound healing, reduce the need for amputations and return your quality of life. Our mission is to heal chronic wounds in 10-12 weeks or less by coordinating clinical treatments to provide the highest quality of care and to avoid amputation of limbs.
What is a chronic wound?
A wound that has not shown signs of healing in four weeks or has not completely healed in eight weeks is a chronic wound. If left untreated, these wounds can impact your health and even result in amputation.

These physician specialists along with certified wound care registered nurses and registered dietitians provide a team approach to address indiviual patient needs. We also have access to all of the specialty services provided at Porter Adventist Hospital, including pharmacists, behavioral health specialists, diabetes education, cardiac rehabilitation and spiritual care.
