Did you know that over 18.2 million people in the United States are affected by diabetes? Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have been living with diabetes for a long time, remember—you’re not alone.

The Porter Diabetes Education Center is here to help. Our new center was designed by experts in diabetes care, based on substantial research showing that people with diabetes experience a better quality of life when they have a full understanding of their disease. Because of that, we are committed to empowering you, and your family, to learn how to manage your disease and live a healthy life.

Taking charge of your lifestyle is one of the most significant aspects to managing your diabetes effectively. Your health and well-being depend on learning and implementing effective diabetes self-management skills. By making smart choices related to the food you eat, getting regular exercise, taking medication and monitoring your blood sugar—you can reduce your risk of the serious complications caused by uncontrolled diabetes.

For more information about the Porter Diabetes Education Center and how it can help you, please call us at 303-765-6500. To fax us please use 303-765-6535.

We invite you to take charge of your health today.
