The American Heart Association’s Get with the Guidelines (GWTG) program has awarded Porter Adventist Hospital with a Heart Failure Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award. The award recognizes hospitals that demonstrate at least 85 percent compliance in each of the five GWTG- Heart Failure Achievement Measures, and the Gold Award recognizes performance of at least 24 consecutive months, and 75 percent compliance with at least four additional quality measures.
The nation’s leading healthcare independent ratings organization, awarded Porter Adventist Hospital the Cardiac Care and Coronary Intervention Excellence Awards, placing the facility in the top 10 percent and 5 percent respectively for patient outcomes in the country for 2010.
