Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Clinic Denver
Porter Comprehensive Breast Cancer Care and Treatment Clinic focuses on an integrated team approach to breast cancer care, which includes a Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Clinic. The goal of the breast clinic is to introduce you to your entire cancer team over the course of one day and to help you understand how each member of the team works for you.

Individual Treatment Plan
If you choose to participate in the Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Clinic in Denver, you’ll meet with each member of your support team in the morning, including the nurse navigator, oncology nurse, physical therapist, genetic counselor, and more. Next, you’ll break for a complimentary lunch in the Porter Adventist Hospital cafeteria while your oncology team holds a breast conference to review your case. In the afternoon, you’ll meet with your physicians, including your surgeon, your medical oncologist, your radiation oncologist, your pathologist and more. At the end of the day, you’ll fully understand who’s who and how the team works with you.
Without the benefit of a multidisciplinary breast clinic, it can take patients up to eight weeks to complete the first round of appointments - and that’s before they even start treatment. The multidisciplinary breast clinic is designed to help patients understand the cancer care system and it gets them into
treatment more quickly.
