Clinical rotations

Outstanding experiences at our facilities
Many of our facilities offer Clinical Rotations for students of healthcare programs. Centura Health facilities partner with a number of universities, colleges, and vocational schools in Colorado and across the U.S. Across our facilities, we offer rotations for the following types of students:

• Nursing: BSN, RN, LPN, CNA
• Imaging
• Respiratory
• Pharmacy
• Pathology
• Psychiatrics
• Medical Assisting
• Medicine
• And more

Our internship and externship students are paired with preceptors. These experienced caregivers provide the guidance and practical experience to help students develop hands-on skills. For nursing students, we offer experience in many areas including Med/Surg, ICU, Orthopedics, Psych.

Many of our sites also offer "re-entry" programs for nurses that have left the nursing profession and would like to return. These inventive programs are designed to help those nurses become comfortable with the current practices, assessment, pharmacology, and technology.

Some unique programs include:

• New RN Graduate Program - a 12 week precepted course to help new RN graduates become grounded in their practice.
• Preceptor Training Programs - a program to train our associates in teaching students.

Enhance your education with experience
Centura Health would like to help you apply your knowledge in your new work environment. We offer orientation programs that provide a foundation in Clinical Practice, Practice Application, and Professional Orientation. You'll get to know not only other new grads and new hires, but also management and leadership.

Many programs offer monthly opportunities to provide feedback and receive counseling. There is also an opportunity to meet Administrative Directors and other leadership.
