Porter Transplant Center
The Centura Health Transplant Program, located at Porter Adventist Hospital, began in 1986. Over the years, our program has reached many milestones in the area of organ transplantation. In fact, the transplant team of physicians at Centura Health has performed over 800 organ transplants since its inception. For almost two decades now, our patients throughout the Rocky Mountain region have received kidney, combined kidney/pancreas, and liver transplants at our program with exceptional outcomes: both our long-term graft and patient survival rates are some of the highest in the United States. Our success can be attributed to our transplant team, which is exceptional in terms of both talent and dedication. What makes our program truly unique is that we are able to tailor the medical care we provide to each of our patients. From physicians specializing in transplant medicine, to nursing staff, social workers, dieticians, financial coordinators, and support staff, all are committed to the education and well being of both our patients and their families. As referring physicians, patients, and their families continue to report a high level of satisfaction with our service, we are advancing toward becoming the premier transplant program in the Rocky Mountain region.
